Professional DAB Products

This website offers an overview of professional Digital Audio Broadcasting (DAB) products developed by Philips.

As one of the major European electronic equipment manufacturers Philips was one of the leading companies in the Eureka 147 project.

The latest Philips DAB product is the DAB752 which is developed for the professional user in a DAB broadcast environment.

Currently Philips prepares the PDE752, a simple but powerfull DAB encoder-transmitter which offers the possibility to broadcast at a laboratory scale.

These products are based on experience built up with the legendary DAB452, PDE452 and the SAA3500, silicon used in this and many competitor DAB receivers.
